This was the point where I decided to look back at the first 4 lessons of Teach Me Bass Guitar to take stock in what I had learned. This was a trend I decided to continue and have since posted recaps for lessons 5-8 and 9-12. I think the biggest impact the first 4 lessons had on me was to get me into the habit of practicing on a regular basis, with clear goals in mind. These first lessons also laid down the foundation of theory on which I have referred back to many times as I have continued on through the course. For me, completing the first four lessons came with a great sense of accomplishment. Going in I knew that if I could get through the first few lessons, I would be invested enough to continue and ultimately complete the course. Well, so far so good.
